The NSA 2010 Class "A" World Series staff has
added an early team check in
at Cherry Park's Tower (Rock Hill SC)
1:00pm to 5:00pm
If you arrive early and would like to get your
check-in out of the way stop by.
If you like you are more than welcome to hang
around, and meet some of the other coaches, or
drive over to nearby Winthrop University
Softball Complex where NSA and Head Coach Mark
Cooke have teamed up for a set of
Skills Clinics. If you have your
players with you, take them over as well
(pre-registration may be required depending on
the numbers slots available).

Team Gift SWAPS:
Each team is requested to bring individual “swaps”
to exchange with the first team they play.
These can be any small token, such as a souvenir
from your area of the country. The swaps will be
exchanged
at the beginning of each team’s first ball game. In
cases where a team has a bye, managers should find
another
team with a bye to share their swaps with. Team
managers of these teams should get together and
arrange
a time for exchanges
The Pin Swap will take place at Knight’s
Castle in Fort Mill, SC on Tuesday, July 27, 2010
from 6pm – 9pm. The Charlotte Knight’s baseball
facility is located in Fort Mill, SC off I – 77 at
Exit 88 (Gold Hill Road Exit).

PARADE OF SOFTBALL TEAMS
CONTEST
Parade of teams softball
contest will be judged in 3 different categories:
Banner (Design)
Spirit (Cheers & Singing)
Dress (Costume / Uniform)
Times for age groups
16u – 6:15pm
14u – 6:45pm
12u – 7:15pm
10u – 7:45pm
The teams will organize on the
1st base grass berm, and parade on the
warning track down the 1st base line, behind home
plate, and up the 3rd base line and re –
enter the stands via the 3rd base wall.
Prizes will be given in each age group for teams
judged to be the winners. This is a great event that
promotes team work and creativity.
All activities are free and
please come out to network and meet different
softball players and their families from the Eastern
United States and Canada as we enjoy a great week of
NSA fast pitch softball in the Carolinas.
